The Athletics Dept. is looking to hire a Head Softball Coach along with an Assistant Softball Coach. There are 2 positions; both are stipend.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Born again, spirit-filled believer
- Active member of a Bible-believing church
- Prioritizes growing in a relationship with Jesus Christ through daily personal encounters
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Two or more years of experience in Coaching Softball (highly preferred)
- Able to receive and apply feedback in the pursuit of excellence
- Strong, proactive work ethic
- Personable with great communication skills
- Collaborative, flexible, goal-driven personality
- Must have a valid driver's license to operate the school van.
Responsibilities:
- Instructs athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success
- Provides instruction that will lead to the formulation of moral values, strong work ethic, responsibility, teamwork, sportsmanship, self‐discipline, leadership, and self‐confidence
- Maintains discipline and works to increase morale and cooperation within the school athletic program and school community
- Supervises practices, games, and team trips
- Updates knowledge of technical aspects of the assigned sport and willingness to continue to learn and examine new ideas pertinent to the assigned sport or coaching in general
- Maintains the inventory of uniform/equipment issue
- Works with athletic director for scheduling; collaboration required
- Encourages and supports athletic policies with parents and players to address issues or concerns
- Updates both the assistant athletic director & athletic director frequently during season about any issues, concerns, or highlights

Must be available to coach the team starting 8th hour, offsite practices, and games.
