Middle School Varsity Lacrosse Coach 


The Agnes Irwin School, an all-girls' Pre-K through 12th grade independent school in the
Philadelphia suburbs, is committed to fostering the intellectual and personal growth of girls and
young women. Providing its students with a rigorous academic education, AIS is dedicated to
developing each students highest potential in intellect, character, and physical well-being.
The Agnes Irwin Schools Athletics Department is seeking a part-time Middle School Varsity
Lacrosse Coach for the 2025 season.  The position begins on March 3, 2025, and finishes in
mid-May. This position will be responsible for developing the Middle School lacrosse program
and players under the direction of the Varsity Lacrosse Coach and Co-Athletic Directors.
The successful candidate will possess:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Previous lacrosse playing experience required; playing and coaching experience
    preferred
  • Proven ability to exemplify the highest standard of leadership, sportsmanship, and
    respect
  • Knowledge of appropriate safety measures to ensure the well-being of student-athletes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage
    relationships with administrators, student-athletes, and parents
  • Ability to attend all team practices and games
  • Must possess or obtain prior to start of season current First Aid and CPR certification
