Position Overview:

Camp Kennybrook, a premier summer camp nestled in the picturesque Catskill Mountains, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Athletics Specialists and Group Leader. If you have a strong background in basketball, a love for the outdoors, and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of campers, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Instruct and supervise campers in basketball sessions, ensuring safety and skill development (Basketball Director only)
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth
Serve as an administrator, offering guidance and support to camp counselors
Collaborate with fellow counselors and camp leadership to create a well-rounded and exciting camp experience
Act as a role model for campers, promoting values such as respect, responsibility, and resilience. - Participate in all camp activities, including meals, evening programs, and special events.
Requirements
Graduated from college Previous experience coaching or playing in basketball is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Energetic, enthusiastic, and patient demeanor when working with children Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Additional Salary Information: Room and board included, laundry, one day off per week.
