Athletic Coach

This application is a general coaching application for all levels and sports within our Athletic Department.

Description:

• Has a strong commitment to school and athletic philosophy
• Understands Athletics to be ministry
• Possesses outstanding interpersonal skills
• Able to partner with parents, coaches and administration
• Able to demonstrate good sportsmanship in each athlete, cultivating the proper attitude of respect for fellow competitors, officials and fans

Responsibilities:

Head Coach:

• Coordinate practice, game and workout schedules within TSSAA guidelines with school administration and others in the conference/district
• Oversee coaching staff, as needed
• Responsible for developing student athletes as they progress through your program. 
• Oversee spiritual growth among the student- athletes on your team
• Help maintain consistency among different age levels within the program
• Maintain uniforms and order team gear within guidelines of standards

Assistant Coach:

• Be available to help the head coach with responsibilities deemed necessary
• Able to commit to attending practices, games, and other team building events
• Support student-athletes as they grow spiritually and physically

Additional Information:

• Please include any certifications, certificates or awards that pertain to coaching
• Sports offered: Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Softball, Soccer, Swimming, Tennis, Track & Field, Volleyball, Wrestling

• Advanced knowledge in the sport for which you are applying
• Coaching experience preferred
