Job Description
Assist with student-athlete recruitment: Ability to identify prospective student-athletes ( PSA ), assess talent, build relationships, and guide PSAs through initial eligibility process. Coaching: Assist with planning practices, teaching strategy, advancing individual skills, enhancing strength and conditioning, scouting opponents and engaging in video review with individuals and team; ability to motivate individuals and team in pursuit of top performance. Player development: Ability to provide academic support and personal mentoring through individual and team meetings. Fundraising: Ability to plan alumni and fan events and cultivate donor relations. Designing, implementing, and overseeing camps and clinics. Day-to-day operations/transactions: Ability to manage budgets within allocated parameters, complete administrative transactions in a timely manner, and engage in departmental communication with various staff to support program and student-athletes. Scheduling: Assist with developing competitive schedules and organize logistics for team and recruiting travel. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Compliance: Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA , Conference, and Institutional policies and procedures. Evidence of demonstrated ability to work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds. Other duties as assigned by head coach or director of athletics/designee.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree Understanding of comprehensive duties of collegiate coach NCAA off-campus recruiting certification or ability to gain certification immediately Experience in organizing, marketing, and promoting various fundraising and team events Evidence of a valid driver’s license, or ability to acquire a legal driver’s license or qualify for a reasonable accommodation Evidence of the ability to work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications
Previous collegiate coaching experience.
