Job Summary
Administer all aspects of the volleyball program and support the academic, athletic, and personal development of the team.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Lead the volleyball team during practices, competitions, and training sessions, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and achieving national competitiveness. Identify, recruit, and retain student-athletes committed to academic and athletic excellence while fostering a positive and disciplined team culture. Supervise, mentor, and develop staff, including full-time, part-time, and volunteer personnel. Oversee daily program operations, including budget management, travel planning, scheduling, organizing camps/clinics, and compliance with all regulations. Represent the volleyball program in community events, public appearances, and fundraising initiatives to enhance program visibility and support. ]Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years of playing and/or coaching experience; any other combination of relevant education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree. Division I playing and/or coaching experience. Demonstrated success in recruiting, program development, and mentoring student-athletes.
Work Schedule
Non-traditional hours to include some nights and weekends.
