Job Summary

The JV Girls' Basketball Coach will be responsible for coaching and developing the skills of the junior varsity girls' basketball team at St. Mary's Preparatory School. The coach will work closely with the head coach and other members of the coaching staff to create a positive and competitive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement practice plans that focus on skill development, team strategy, and conditioning
• Attend all games, practices, and team meetings
• Provide individual feedback and instruction to players to help them improve their skills
• Assist with scouting and game preparation
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other members of the coaching staff
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all players

Requirements

• Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school level
• Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and strategy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire players
• Availability to attend all games, practices, and team meetings
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
