The Athletic Coach plays a crucial role in guiding and supporting student-athletes in their chosen sport under the supervision of the athletic director. The coach fosters a positive and encouraging environment, assisting and guiding students and parents. Key responsibilities of the role include engaging with players, overseeing sports practices and games, managing team rosters and equipment, organizing resources, and ensuring compliance with rules and procedures. The position is central to delivering enriching sports experiences that promote participant growth, engagement, and relationship building, thereby encouraging students in their pursuit of athletic development and personal growth.

Ability to provide support, motivation, and encouragement to all athletes and parents, ensuring a positive and engaging sports experience;
An outgoing personality, enabling coaches to relate well to athletes and parents;
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:
Strong desire to coach elementary-aged children
Managing and Coaching athletic practices and games
Reporting all incidents or injuries to the Athletic Director
Ensuring safety through field/gym safety checks
Knowledge of league rules and procedures
General knowledge of sports rules and regulations
Consistent communication with parents and athletes
Organizing rosters, equipment, and uniforms
Performing head counts on athletes to ensure presence and safety
Coaches may fill in for PE Teachers/Assistants, as available
